Each method has its own unique benefits.
RSS Subscription vs. Email Subscription
Each feature provides the same post information but uses a different technology to deliver the content. RSS subscribers will not get as many special offers as email subscribers.
Email Subscription
Delivers my posts to your email inbox. I'll also have occasional special offers for my email subscribers that I won't be able to offer to RSS subscribers.
